Wood Fence Repair
Targeted repair of damaged sections, loose boards, sagging rails and leaning posts.

About wood fence repair
Not every fence problem needs a full replacement. Repairs address the specific failure — a cracked rail, a run of loose pickets, a post that has started to lean — while leaving sound sections alone.
We inspect the fence, explain what we found, and give you a written scope for the repair. If we believe repair is not the better value, we will tell you that too.
Scope
What is included, and what to think about
Typical inclusions
- Inspection of the affected sections
- Replacement of damaged pickets, rails or hardware
- Re-securing loose boards and fasteners
- Resetting or replacing individual posts where included
- Removal of replaced material from the work area
Practical considerations
Things that genuinely affect the work, said plainly before you commit.
- New wood will not match the colour of weathered wood until it ages or is stained.
- Older fence material may no longer be available in the same dimensions.
- Repairs to a fence that is failing generally are a short-term measure.
- Hidden rot is sometimes found once boards are removed; we will contact you before expanding the scope.
Questions
Wood Fence Repair: frequently asked
Not covered here? Ask us directly — we would rather answer it before you commit than after.
Can you repair my fence instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. We inspect the fence and tell you honestly whether the failure is localised or whether the run is at the end of its service life. If a repair is the better value, that is what we will recommend.
