This policy describes how Texas Timber Fence handles information collected through this website.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to send us:

• Estimate requests. Your name, phone number, email address, property address, city, state, ZIP code, the service you are interested in, and any project details, measurements, preferences or description you provide.
• Contact messages. Your name, phone number, email address, subject and message.
• Review submissions. Your name, email address, an optional phone number, your city, the service you are reviewing, a star rating and your review text.
• Warranty requests. Your name, contact details, property address, project reference, a description of the issue, when you first noticed it, and related circumstances.
• Photographs you upload. Images attached to an estimate request or warranty request.
• Consent records. For each form, we store the exact wording of each consent statement, whether you accepted it, the date and time, the form version, and technical request information such as IP address and browser user agent where that is appropriate.

We also record which page a request came from and any campaign parameters present in the link you followed.

What we do not collect

We do not operate a customer account system, and there is no customer login. We do not process payments through this website, so we never collect card numbers, bank details or any other payment credentials. This website has no checkout, no billing and no invoicing.

How we use information

We use the information you send us to:

• respond to your request and answer your questions;
• arrange a site visit and prepare a written estimate;
• carry out and record work on a project;
• assess and respond to a warranty request;
• moderate and, with your permission, publish a review;
• keep records of the work we have done and the consents we have received.

We use the contact method you indicate you prefer.

Reviews and publication

A review is only published if you gave explicit permission to publish it, and only after a person has reviewed it. We never publish a reviewer's email address or phone number. You may ask us to remove a published review at any time.

Photographs

Photographs you upload are private by default. A photograph of your property is only shown publicly if someone at Texas Timber Fence has explicitly approved it for public use. Location metadata is removed from images when they are processed.

Analytics

We use analytics only if an analytics identifier has been configured for this website. When no identifier is configured, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics data is collected. We do not send your property address or other personal details to any analytics service.

Email

We use an email service to send confirmations, notifications and administrative messages. The content of those messages, including your name and the details of your request, passes through that service.

Storage and security

Information is stored in a database and, for photographs, in file storage. Access is restricted to authorised staff, protected by individual accounts and passwords, and administrative activity is recorded in an audit log. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Retention

We keep estimate requests, project records, warranty records and consent records for as long as we need them for the work, for our own business records, and for any period required by law. Contact messages and rejected reviews are kept for a shorter period. Specific retention periods should be confirmed during legal review.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate this website and our business — for example email delivery and file storage — and only to the extent needed for them to provide that service. We may disclose information where we are legally required to.

Your choices

You may ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you;
• correct information that is inaccurate;
• delete information, where we are not required to keep it;
• stop sending you optional updates.
