Service
Fence Staining and Sealing
Cleaning, preparation and application of stain or sealer to an existing wood fence.

About fence staining and sealing
Stain and sealer slow the effects of sun and moisture and keep a wood fence looking closer to its original tone. Preparation matters as much as the product: a fence that is dirty, damp or still shedding mill glaze will not hold a finish well.
We assess moisture and surface condition first and tell you if the fence is not ready.

Not covered here? Ask us directly — we would rather answer it before you commit than after.
When should I stain a new fence?
Newly installed wood — particularly pressure-treated lumber — usually needs to dry before it will accept a finish properly. How long that takes depends on the material and the weather. We will tell you what we would do on your specific fence.
